Welcome to Fido Fixers

America’s Largest Fleet of Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinics

Bringing Affordable Veterinary Care to Underserved Communities

Founded in 2012, Fido Fixers was created to end pet overpopulation by bringing spay and neuter access directly to the communities that need it most, especially across the South and rural America. In September 2024, founder Lisa Wysocki passed the torch of her lifesaving vision to Providence Animal Center (PAC), and today Fido Fixers is proudly a program of PAC. With fully equipped mobile surgical units and a national fleet on the move, we help remove barriers like cost, distance, and limited veterinary availability so more dogs and cats can receive the care they deserve.

By deploying fully equipped mobile surgical units, we bring lifesaving care directly to pets and families who would otherwise go without it. Since our founding, Fido Fixers has supported more than 183,000 free and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries nationwide.

Why Mobile Spay and Neuter Matters

Spay and neuter is the most effective and humane way to reduce shelter overcrowding, prevent unwanted litters, and stop suffering before it begins. Yet millions of pets live in areas without affordable veterinary services.

Mobile spay and neuter clinics remove barriers like transportation, distance, and cost. When access to care exists, communities stabilize and animals thrive.

Our Impact on Pet Overpopulation

Fido Fixers operates a growing national fleet of mobile veterinary clinics that travel thousands of miles each year to serve animals most at risk.

Together with our partners, we have:

  • Supported more than 180,000 free and low-cost spay and neuter surgeries nationwide

  • Expanded access to care in rural and underserved communities

  • Helped shelters reduce intake and euthanasia

  • Provided lifesaving infrastructure to animal welfare organizations across the country

Every mile traveled and every surgery performed is powered by donor support.

A Unique, Donor-Driven Model

Fido Fixers builds and deploys fully equipped mobile spay and neuter vans through a one-of-a-kind partnership model. Qualified 501(c)(3) animal welfare organizations lease these clinics for just $1 per month, allowing them to focus resources on care and not overhead.

We receive no compensation for managing the fleet. Our work is made possible entirely through private donations from supporters who believe in prevention, access, and long-term solutions.
